Engineering-Mechanical Pre-Apprenticeship Course

My Gateway, in partnership with TAFE NSW, will provide you with a four-week course that will give you a head start in your apprenticeship.

The training includes:

  • Learning interview techniques
  • How to work effectively with others
  • Deal with conflict situations
  • Work experience arranged for you with local engineering employers

You will be enrolled in the following skill set:

MEM13014A/Apply principles of WHS in the workplace environment
MEM05013C/Perform Manual Production Welding

Course Details

Dates: Monday 18 November to Friday 13 December.
Time: 8am to 3.30pm, four days per week and one day work experience with an engineering company

Eligibility: Young people between 15 and less than 40 years old who have left school
