Students Build Cubby House for Women’s Health Centre

Posted in Apprenticeships General Schools Trade Engagement Program

Camden High School students participating in My Gateway’s Trade Engagement Program have built a cubby house for local organisation, WILMA, Women’s Health Centre.

The students have been working on the cubby’s framework throughout Term 3, with Bunnings Warehouse, Narellan, offering a space and resources to assist the students with the build. On Friday, 13 September, the students, along with Greg Belle, My Gateway’s School to Work Partner, and Peter Sherlock, from the Activities team at Bunnings, Narellan, installed the cubby house at WILMA.

The project is almost complete, with a final coat of paint and tidy up to take place over the remainder of the school term. My Gateway would like to thank Bunnings, Narellan and the staff at WILMA, Women’s Health Centre for their involvement and support of the project!
