My Gateway currently has a fantastic opportunity available for a candidate who is interested in completing a horticulture apprenticeship. We have a position available within a Local Government Organisation, based in the Bayside area. This will suit anyone looking to start their apprenticeship in Horticulture commencing in January 2018. As part of the apprenticeship, you will complete a Horticulture (Parks & Gardens) Certificate III which is a trade qualification.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

  • Hedge Trimming
  • Whipper snipping
  • Lawn maintenance (ride on mower and push mower)
  • Herbicide application
  • Planting and maintaining garden beds
  • Fertiliser application,
  • Identifying weeds, pests and diseases.
